I have a driver's side seat out of a 240sx s13 currently with stock worn
down gray cloth. I am interested in rehupholstering it with black leather
and red stitching . I searched online for kits and such to absolutely no
avail. I have only found rather inexpensive looking seat covers online.
Is it even necessary for me to remove the cloth or can I simply put
leather over it? Glue?It is important to me that it looks professional, and not simply like a Wal-
mart seat cover, however, I would like to do it all myself and not send
the seat to a company such as Katzkin. I have a friend who is proficient
when it comes to sewing. I also looked at tanneries online but I am unsure as to whether a car
seat leather, which is exposed to extreme heat and cold, needs to be
chemically treated in a specific manner. Also, does anyong sell bracketry to mount a car seat to a frame with
wheels like an office chair? Any links or advice your guys could give would be fantastic. Thanks in
